YARD-O-LED is proud to be an official licensee for the Ministry of Defence (MOD), allowing us to honour His Majesty's Armed Forces. As an official writing instruments licensee, we are authorised to use the official signs, symbols and Heraldic Badges of the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force.

Military & Special Projects Programme

The YARD-O-LED Military & Special Projects license allows the creation of exclusive bespoke writing instruments for military units, specialist organisations and private communities.

Each project is based on one of our iconic writing instruments and can be personalised with carefully considered details such as engravings, insignia, squadron badges, colours and commemorative elements. The result is a distinctive edition that reflects the heritage, identity, and achievements of the community it represents. 

To preserve their exclusivity, these editions are available only to independently verified eligible members and are never released to the general public.

Creating Your Bespoke Writing Instrument

Every commission begins with a personal consultation to understand your vision and recommend the most suitable model from the YARD-O-LED collection.

Working closely with you, we develop bespoke concepts incorporating the details that matter most-whether a crest, logo, insignia, significant dates or other meaningful design features. Every element is carefully refined to produce a writing instrument of lasting significance. 

From initial concept through to production and delivery, our dedicated team provides expert guidance on design, quantities, timelines and every stage of the commissioning process.

Corporate & Special Projects

Alongside our military commissions, YARD-O-LED works with corporate organisations, private institutions, clubs and specialist groups to create bespoke writing instruments that celebrate milestones, recognise achievement and commemorate shared experiences.
